Bryanston School woods can be seen from the farmhouse – they are beautiful all year round, but particularly stunning at this time of year. In the wood three enormous London Plane trees grow, much taller and larger than the other trees. They were measured earlier this year, and one in particular (as seen in the photo) has broken the 49m height barrier making it the tallest broadleaved tree in Britain and among the tallest in Europe.
